Two more 17-year-olds are facing first-degree murder charges in the Sunday’s death of St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Sergeant Grant Candies. Candies was killed when the 17-year-old driver, Adrian Waughtal, struck and killed Candies as he was deploying a spike strip in an effort to stop Waughtal’s vehicle who was fleeing from a deputy attempting to initiate a traffic stop. Waughtal was the driver and the two other 17-year-olds were passengers in the vehicle.
