Brown is from Colombia, Louisiana, a small farming community in the north of the state. He says this project is near and dear to him because they’re going to implement the imaging systems in two rural Louisiana hospitals to ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare.

Louisiana Treasurer Dr. John Fleming has advised against approving Bank of America as an authorized fiscal agent for the state. Fleming’s recommendation is based on concerns the bank denied services to customers and potential customers based on their political perspective. Fleming says multiple cases were cited with Christian organizations, gun manufacturers, and fossil fuel producers…

Bank of America also joined the Net-Zero Banking Alliance which pushes a green energy agenda. Fleming’s stance reflects a pushback against financial institutions perceived as prioritizing progressive ESG agendas over traditional economic considerations.

A Tickfaw man will serve 70 years in prison after being convicted as a habitual offender. According to DA Scott M Perrilloux, 32 year old Devonte Skinner was been convicted of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl – a potentially deadly drug that has accounted for numerous deaths of Louisiana residents. According to the Livingston Parish Sheriffs office, Skinner was connected to one of the largest fentanyl seizure’s in the Parish’s history.

Louis was last seen on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in St. Martinville. He was taken by his non-custodial mother Mashays Johnson from his daycare and was last seen traveling south on Resweber Street in a black sedan. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Kaizor Louis contact the St. Martinville Police Department or call 911.

Director of Officials for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Lee Sanders says football alone, only 1,000 refs are officiating more than 20-thousand players in Louisiana. And of those officials, he says 60% of them are over the age of 50.

45-year-old April Poitras of Shreveport pleaded guilty to two counts of aiming a laser pointer at multiple aircraft on August 15, 2023. Law enforcement responded to the area by vehicle and a police helicopter. While responding the helicopter was also illuminated by the green laser from the ground. The helicopter was able to direct officers to the location where Poitras was standing in a yard holding the laser pointer. She faces a sentence of up to 5 years and a fine of up to $250 thousand.
