State Police say a single vehicle crash in Jefferson Parish has taken the life of a Houma man. They say 25-year-old Edgard Gonzales lost control of his vehicle and entered a drainage ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its roof, partially submerged in water. Gonzales, who was not wearing a seat belt, was found submerged in the water outside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
