He says it’s important for people to pay attention to who these PACs are supporting because they typically have a hidden motive…

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office says an 82-year-old Houma woman was found tied up in her bedroom after a home invasion. Authorities say the woman was awakened by three men who forced entry into her house. They bound the woman by her hands and ankles and then rummaged through the residence before fleeing. Police say the victim was not seriously injured. Authorities are searching for the suspects.

A Larose man has been found guilty of second degree murder and first degree feticide in the death of a pregnant Terrytown woman last year. Authorities say 31-year-old Emilio Calderon was convicted of stabbing and strangling 23-year-old Katherine Martinez to death, which also resulted in the death of her unborn child. Sentencing is scheduled for October 7th, where Calderon will face a mandatory life sentence.
