Louisiana-Lafayette has released it’s 2018-2019 home mens basketball schedule. The ragin Cajuns will host Louisiana Tech along with the first visit in more than 30 years by Southern University. That game will be played December 1st. The game with the Jags will be the first one since 1996.

The G-Men look to solidify their starting roster before the season opener against the Ragin’ Cajuns and the most important position up for grabs is quarterback.
Geremy Hickbottom is the likely starter for that game, but head coach Broderick Fobbs has indicated that the spot is open for someone to take control.
The Tigers have plenty of talent to help build a successful offense this year and Hickbottom said he welcomes the challenge.
Kickoff for the season opener in Lafayette is set for September 1 at 6:00 p.m.

The plots are used by major oil companies to initiate Gulf of Mexico resources drilling. Generally larger numbers of purchased plots at the auctions indicate increased economic activity in the industry.

But Smith cautions that the bid likely won’t be a barn burner, because it’s still less economical to drill over water than it is to set up shop on land.

Cut 5 (11) “do it.”

There’s currently 20 rigs operating in the gulf, up from 12 in March, but that’s still a far cry from past decades peaks. Smith says the plots that are purchased likely won’t be shallow water leases, which drive much of the Acadian economy.

Cut 6 (11) “water platforms.”

The last cycle only saw one percent of the 77 million acres available bid on.
