It’s the announcement ice cream lovers have been waiting for. Blue Bell announced today they will begin delivery to select markets on Monday August 31st. The five-phase process will begin on a limited basis in parts of Alabama first, before moving to other areas. No dates yet for phase 4 to include South Louisiana, or phase five to cover North Louisiana.

Louisiana chef Jay Ducote was not the big winner last night on this season’s Food Network Star, but he remains optimistic about the future. The title went to former NFL player Eddie Jackson. Ducote found out along with everyone else that he is the runner-up on the show. He says his first reaction was disappointment…:
