Ouachita Parish Sheriff deputies have charged 28-year-old Tiera Mooney with cruelty to a juvenile after she allegedly left her one-year-old with strangers. O-P-S-O spokesperson Glen Springfield says Mooney knocked on a person’s home, said she couldn’t do this anymore and left the child with the person who answered the door. Springfield says Mooney was later apprehended in a nearby woodeded area…

10-million dollars in hurricane recovery dollars will be used to build new homes for guardsmen and their families who live at Camp Beauregard in Pineville. Louisiana National Guard spokesperson, Colonel Ed Bush, says the families currently live in 40 FEMA trailers that have been up since Hurricane Katrina. He says they hope to build about 50 new homes with the 10-million….
