The LSU Tigers are the national champions of college baseball for an eighth time after sweeping Coastal Carolina two games to nothing in the championship series. The Tigers won five to three yesterday behind strong pitching from Anthony Eyanson and Chase Shores. Chris Stanfield and Derek Curiel each drove in two runs.
