Bill Arnsparger, who guided the LSU Tigers to an SEC title in football in 1986, has passed away at his home in Alabama. Arnsparger was the head coach of the Fightning Tigers from 1984 to 1986, compiling a record of 28-8-and-2.

According to Southern Business and Development magazine, Louisiana is number one among southern states for the number of major business projects per capita. State Economic Development Secretary Steven Grissom says the ranking is based on large capital investment projects and large job creation projects…:
