A federal grand jury has handed down indictments to a total of 13 people from Louisiana and one from Texas in connection with a methamphetimine distribution ring in South Central Louisiana. Some defendants face up to 20 years in prison, while others face up to life inprisonment. The arrests are part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.

Two bodies were found in Lake Pontchartrain this morning and authorities believe they were on board a plane that crashed into the lake last week. New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, Colonel Jerry Sneed, says the first body was located at 7:15 AM….
