A district judge in New Orleans rules that Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson is legally competent to run the teams. His estranged heirs tried to prove the 87 year-old Benson was mentally unsound when he made the decision to transfer ownership to his wife Gayle, upon his death. Benson issued a statement, thanking fans and sponsors for their overwhelming support.
