According to sources close to the New Orleans Saints, the club will be releasing popular 8 year veteran running back Pierre Thomas. Thomas signed on as an undrafted free agent in 2007, and was a key component of the Saints Superbowl win against the Colts in 2009. The Saints may be also looking to trade linebacker Curtis Lofton.
