A measure is heading to Senate floor final legislative passage that will result in voters deciding whether colleges should have authority to raise tuition. Currently, it takes a two-thirds vote in the legislature to raise tuition above a certain level. The Tangiaphoa Parish Sheriff’s office is seeking clues into the murder of three people during a 24-hour period. Two people were found shot to death in an SUV in Natalbany on Thursday and then this morning, the body of 18-year-old Marquise Lightfoot was found about a block away from the double homicide.
