With the rain and gusty winds, Marty Mayeaux (MY you) from the National Weather Service Office in Shreveport says power outages are widespread across the state, with outages being reported in Central and Northwest Louisiana, with Monroe being hit really hard…

ULM is closed because of the damages and power outages, because of weather, until tomorrow morning at 11 am. Once the front DOES move through we can expect much cooler and dryer conditions, and less humidity.

A temporary restraining order has been granted by a state judge to stop the disposal of the incinerated personal belongings of a Dallas Ebola victim from going into a Calcasieu Parish landfill. Attorney General Buddy Caldwell issued the request to block it, because he says there are too many unanswered questions…
