Baton Rouge Police say the father of a 3 month old infant, who died over the weekend from injuries related to blunt force trauma, could face charges in her death. They say 28-year-old John William Hope brought the baby to the hospital last week with life threatening injuries and told doctors she fell off the changing table. After further investiation of the injuries, Hope was charged with second-degree cruelty to a juvenile at the time and East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hilar Moore says he faces possible murder charges.
