A very popular Monroe chef and restauranteur has just received some rather impressive national recognition. Cory Bahr, the owner of Restaurant Cotton and Nonna, got the most votes for “People’s Best New Chef” in Food and Wine magazine. Bahr previously served as executive chef at Sage in Monroe and did his chef internships at Commander’s Palace and Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse in New Orleans.
