A federal indictment has been unsealed that accuses Sorrento Councilman Randy Anny and his wife for fraudulently claiming thousand of dollars in recovery money following the Gulf Oil Spill. The chargs of conspiracy and wire fraud are based on evidence that the pair asked for $78 hundred dolalrs to repair a boat and trailer.

The updated 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Outlook from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center is now calling for a 90% chance of a below-normal season. However, the forecast does not include landfall prediction. NOAA’s lead seasonal hurricane forecaster, Gerry Bell, says-even with El Nino- it is still very possible for tropical storms and big hurricanes to form.
