A Southern Media and Opinion Research poll finds that voters approve of what the state House has done when it comes to dealing with Louisiana’s one-point-six billion dollar budget deficit. The measure, which heads to the senate, would only apply to vehicles seven years old or less, and a five-year sticker would also not be allowed in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas, because of air pollution problems.
