The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority is performing a $34 million project that uses rock-filled sacks to protect the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Cameron Parish.  Kevin Barnhart has more.

ULM is bowl eligible after beating South Alabama 38-10 and the Ragin Cajuns are one win away from a sixth win to become bowl eligible. UL-Lafayette rushed for a season-high 355 yards in a 36-22 win over Georgia State. Running back Raymond Calais had a career-high 186 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Coach Billy Napier says Raymond has developed over time….
