Tropical storm conditions are spreading across portions of southeast Louisiana as Barry is now 100 miles south-southeast of Morgan City and moving five miles per hour. Barry is expected to reach hurricane strength before making landfall near St. Mary Parish. But State Climatologist Barry Keim says the main threat remains heavy rainfall..
