Coach Terry Bowden says Rogers is figuring it out after signing with the school in the summer

A short-handed LSU team is set to take on 20th ranked Florida at 11 AM on Saturday. The Bayou Bengals will be missing five starters on defense. Defensive linemen Ali Gaye and Joseph Evans are the two latest Tigers who have been ruled out for the year because of injuries.

Pelicans All-Star Zion Williamson will not be healthy enough to play when the regular season starts next week. So New Orleans signed Brian Johnson off the Chicago Bears practice squad as Will Lutz remains on injured reserve recovering from core muscle surgery. Free tickets will be devoted to high school basketball teams, first responders and youth-centered organizations.
