Natchitoches Police have arrested one person and they are searching for another in the early Sunday morning shooting death of 21-year-old Jaqurian Casson near Carter’s Mobile Home Park. Officers arrested 37-year-old Cedric Daniels of Natchitoches yesterday and they are looking for 27-year-old Kenny Wayne Smith Junior of Natchitoches.

To assist with Hurricane Ian’s recovery, some 250 Louisiana National Guardsmen have been deployed. Brooke Thorington has more.

Monroe Police say they are searching for a juvenile who fired several shots inside Pecanland Mall on Saturday night.
