In college hoops last night, Nicholls remains at the top of the Southland standings after beating Houston Baptist 81-73. Stephen F Austin defeated Northwestern State 69-62. McNeese won its fifth straight beating Southeastern Louisiana 77-61.

Brees told ESPN he wants to give it at least a few weeks, so he can take a deep breath and take some time with the family and then reassess his situation. His teammates have said they expect Brees will be back for the 2020 season.
