Governor John Bel Edwards is pleased with the state’s economic growth, as the state’s unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been since May 2008. Lake Charles and Baton Rouge metro areas continue to gain jobs and two-thousand new jobs are expected to be created with DXC Technology opening an office in New Orleans.
