LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva spoke to reporters today to talk about the firing of Les Miles, and introduce Ed Orgeron as interim head coach. He said they like Miles but felt that, at this time, Coach O is the right man to take over the program…:

Miles spoke for the first time since the firing today on the “Dan Patrick Show on DirecTV’s Audience.” He said he did not fight Alleva’s decision because he wants what everyone wants and that’s what’s best for the Tigers. Miles also indicated he would like to coach again…:

Miles was the head coach at LSU for 11-plus seasons. He won 77-percent of his games, including a BCS National Championship and two SEC titles.
