Authories say the Kenner Raising Canes manager who was murdered at work was stabbed 8 times while laying on the ground. Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser says 21-year-old Taylor Friloux resisted opening the door for the men but was forced to when she was stabbed in the chest. Today the Revenue Estimating Conference learned that legislators raised $371 million dollars in revenue to be used in the fiscal year that starts Friday. Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal is accused of calling a federal prosecutor in his pending civil rights case a “sorry son-of-a-b***h” in a secret recording and the prosecutors are trying to use the audio to put new conditions on Ackal’s bond. Legal Analyst Tim Meche says it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out in the court of public opinion…

The Supreme Court has suspended two 18th District judges without pay because of misconduct.
