Lafayette Congressman Charles Boustany has been chosen to lead the Ways and Means Committee’s Tax Policy Subcommittee. Former Governor Edwin Edwards is hospitalized this Thanksgiving battling pneumonia. According to his wife, Trina, the former four-term governor was admitted Wednesday and doctors are treating him with antibiotics. Edwards biographer, Leo Honeycutt says Edwards could be out of the hospital by the end of the holiday weekend…

With Black Friday looming, the personal finance website WalletHub looked at which stores were having the best Black Friday deals.
