By all accounts Governor Jeff Landry’s first regular session of his first term in office went pretty well. He accomplished many of his goals but wasn’t able to get enough support for the constitutional convention he wanted. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says the push for the convention was not without support.

The search for two young girls from Loranger who’s mother was found dead yesterday morning ended last night in Jackson, Mississippi . Authorities say when they found Daniel Callihan along with 35 year old Callie Brunett’s car and six year old Jalie Burnett.. The body of 2 year old Erin Burnett was found nearby.
