The Mega Millions Jackpot reaches $1.1 billion, with a cash value of $568 million. Louisiana Lottery spokesman Dustin Annison says this jackpot has been turning over since October 18th.

Cut 12 (09) “…it home.”

Annison says ticket sales in Louisiana for the multistate Mega Millions jackpot have picked up considerably. He says in the last week alone sales in Louisiana for Mega Millions have been $3.5 million.

Annison urges you to use their Louisiana Lottery app to scan your lottery and scratch off tickets because you possibly could have won a prize even without matching every number. He says there’s still a $50,000 Powerball prize that’s yet to be claimed from the July 30th drawing that was purchased in Louisiana.

Cut 13 (11) “…check them all.”

You can also take your ticket to a lottery retailer to be scanned.

Annison urges you to play responsibly because it only takes one ticket to win. He says that there are thousands of Louisiana winners in every drawing. Besides the jackpot, there are eight other prize-winning combinations.

Cut 14 (11)   “…purchase a ticket.”

Tickets must be purchased by 9 PM to be eligible for tonight’s drawing at 10 PM.
