A Denham Springs man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading no contest to sexual battery charges. Dwayne Miller was ordered to serve his sentence without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. Authorities say Miller admitted to the New Years Eve 2012 crime while in custody.
The Morgan City Police Department says more arrests could be coming in the cruelty to the infirm case which put a 22-year-old woman behind bars this week. Assistant Chief Mark Griffin says they believe Bethany Daigle and the 54-year-old disabled victim were roommates, but not related…:
