The Saints held a night practice at Mandeville High School last night and the place was packed. The players liked the interaction with the fans on hand. Coach Payton says he and the team felt like it was one of their better practices since they came back from the Greenbrier resort in West Virginia. Today’s Saints practice has been moved inside and will be closed to the public as the Black and Gold continue preparations for the next preseason game Saturday at 7 in Indianapolis against the Colts. You can watch that game on CBS.

LSU Coach Les Miles said once again on his radio show last night that both quarterbacks will play in the season opener against Wisconsin next Saturday. He added that whether it’s Anthony Jennings or Brandon Harris who starts in the game — that doesn’t necessarily mean that QB will be the one who gets more snaps or starts the rest of the season. Student athletes including coaches and players all took part in move-in day at LSU yesterday. The Tigers are back on the practice field today.

The Southeastern Conference says all 14 Southeastern Conference schools have made steps to improve fan experience during football games in their stadiums. The league says the changes were the result of recommendations made by athletic directors, including LSU AD Joe Alleva, who reviewed attendance trends noting that more fans were choosing to stay home and watch the game on their big TVs.

According to Forbes, The Dallas Cowboys are worth the most out of all 32 NFL franchises. The publication indicates The Cowboys are the first US sports franchise to top $3 billion dollars. The Saints came in a 23rd overall with a value of 1.11 billion dollars according to the report.
