A poll shows Governor Edwards in a dead heat tie with Eddie Rispone 47 to 47 with less than a month until voters head to the polls. A Shreveport man accused of shooting two people, including a police officer, on the Grambling State campus overnight is in custody. State Police Trooper Michael Reichardt says the suspect was arrested a shortly after the shooting, which happened at 1:30 in the morning
19-year-old Princeston Adams is now in jail, and the officer received non-life threatening injuries.
