Louisiana’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is underway. Law enforcement is working overtime this Labor Day weekend to find drunk drivers.

If you’re hitting the road this holiday weekend, Triple-A says expect to pay an average of $3.40 a gallon for regular gas in the Gulf south. Experts say motorists in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama this weekend will see prices range between $3.30 and $3.40 a gallon of regular gas.

Due to ongoing wildfires, state officials are urging Louisiana residents not to light a flame outside and that means no grilling or Labor Day barbecues. Ag and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain urges the public not to burn anything during statewide the burn ban.

No. 5 LSU and No. 8 Florida State finally play each other tomorrow. The game is being played at a neutral site in Orlando. Even though the game site is 4 hours from Tallahassee, Kelly says they are preparing for a hostile crowd.
