The Vice President will rally Republicans to vote Republican in the governor’s race during an event at the Ponchatrain Center in Kenner tomorrow at 1 PM. Matt Doyle has more.

The new machines are Ipad like devices that are not connected to the internet and turn on when you slide a voter card into them.

A study from Triple-A finds that the emergency braking systems in newer vehicles fail to stop a vehicle at night to avoid hitting a pedestrian and only work sporadically during the day. AAA spokesperson Don Redman says their travel club supports the continued development of pedestrian detection systems, because they work well in avoiding collissions with other vehicles…
