In Orleans Parish, a Democratic Party stronghold in the state, 114-thousand residents voted for Edwards in the run-off. compared to 86-thousand in the primary.

U-S House Minority Whip Steve Scalise says don’t blame Trump for Rispone not winning. Scalise said on Fox News that Rispone made up a 22-point disadvantage because of the president’s involvement.

Federal and state officials are urging air travelers to get a Real ID before next October or else you’ll need a passport to fly domestically. Connor Ferrill has the story.
