Running back Mark Ingram had his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season and the defense sacked Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton four times and picked him off twice. We’ve seen heavy rainfall along I-20 corridor, flooding several roads, which have led to some closures. The ULM weather lab says three inches of rain has fallen near Forsythe Park in Monroe. And we have a tornado watch until noon for the coastal parishes.

A $34 million project is underway that’s using rock-filled sacks to protect the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Cameron Parish. Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority project manager Bevin Barringer says an aggregate material is being used to keep the so called pillows, about the size of a small car, from sinking in the mucky soil.
