The regular session ended last night. One of the more significant pieces of legislation to pass, still needs voter approval in November. That’s the constitutional amendment that would require unanimous jury verdicts in criminal cases. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says it’s success will hinge on who shows up to the ballot box…

And Louisiana Tech won its 20th game in conference play last night, which is a program record and UL Lafayette clinched the Sun Belt Western Division Championship with a 9-6 victory over ULM.
