COVID-19 vaccine eligibility has been expanded in Louisiana to include everyone 16 and older and who has a health condition that makes them more at risk of seriously getting sick or dying from the virus. This includes overweight individuals and smokers and those with asthma, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
Pharmacists received a heads up the state would increase eligibility for the COVID vaccine. Brooke Thorington reports pharmacies are prepared.
