A suspended LSU football player files a federal lawsuit accusing the university he was unjustly suspended on an accusation he had non-consensual sex with a female student. Attorney Susan Stone says their client was not given access to evidence until after his guilt was already determined by the school.

Since June 10th the state has reported 4,200 new coronavirus cases. Assistant health secretary Doctor Alex Billioux says most of those are linked to social gatherings or households, but not to protests.

A U-K study has found Dexamethasone can reduce the risk of death for COVID ventilator patients by a third. Tulane Medical Center pulmonary care Dr. Joshua Denson says he has used this treatment on a handful of COVID patients.

Front line workers are in line to receive a 250-dollar check from the state under legislation approved by the Louisiana House. Nurses, cops, gorcery store workers and others who make less than 50-thousand dollars are eligible.
