67 registered sex offenders are arrested in what’s being billed as the biggest child predator bust in state history. It was a month-long operation involving more than 30 law enforcement agencies. Attorney General Liz Murrill says this underscores the importance of parents diligently supervising their kids’ online activity at all times.
The American Tort Reform Foundation says the long-running coastal litigation case in Louisiana is the fourth biggest judicial hellhole in the country. Federation President Tiger Joyce says litigation like this is not good news for one of the biggest drivers of the state’s economy.
