The chancellor at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport, David Guzick, has resigned. Last September, LSU board member Esperanza Moran called for his dismissal at a board meeting, which raises speculation he could lose his job, despite having the support of LSU System president William Tate, who praised Guzick for getting the medical school removed from probation.
