A proposed Congressional map with two majority black districts could receive a vote on the Senate floor this afternoon. The proposal, which has the support of Governor Jeff Landry, would make Congressman Garret Graves’ sixth district a second majority Black district by stretching it from Baton Rouge to Shreveport.
