The New Orleans Archdiocese has released the names of 57 priests dating back to 1917 who had credible allegations of child sexual abuse against them while in the ministry. Archbishop Gregory Aymond says they voluntarily released the list to help facilitate the healing process for victims and parishioners in New Orleans.

Congressman Ralph Abraham has a suite of new campaign ads airing across south Louisiana markets that don’t have many voters from his more northern and central district. ULM Poli Sci Professor Joshua Stockley says it’s likely to boost his name recognition statewide for a potential run at governor if the political winds shift on Tuesday.
