A 10-year-old boy who is believed to be autistic is missing from Ouachita Parish. State and Parish officials say Jabari Mackey was last seen around 8:30 Wednesday evening at his home. A statewide Endangered/Missing Child Advisory has been issued. The young boy is 5′3, tall and weighs around 155 pounds. He has shoulder length dreads. He was last seen only wearing shorts. Anyone who believes they have seen Mackey is asked to call the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 329-1200.
There’s lots of speculation that Will Wade could return to Baton Rouge and again coach LSU Men’s Basketball. Reports that LSU was on the verge of hiring McNeese AD Heath Schroyer as a senior administrator are now confirmed. McNeese has put out a statement saying Schroyer is indeed going to LSU. Schroyer hired Wade at McNeese in 2023 when LSU President Wade Rousse was president of McNeese. Tiger Rag editor Glenn Guilbeau says Wade’s interest in returning to Baton Rouge also stems from the opportunity to coach the state’s premier program.
