And there’s a bizarre story involving the camel that lives at the I-10 truck stop in Grosse Tete. The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s office reports a woman who was trying to get her dog out of the pen where Casper the Camel lives, ended up having to bite the Camel’s testicles after Casper sat on her. The truck stop is not in trouble, but the woman and her husband were charged with a leash law violation and criminal trespassing.
