Essential workers can get the COVID vaccine starting today. That means grocery store employees, restaurant workers, bank tellers, postal workers, and a lot more individuals can get vaccinated. Some argue essential workers should have received higher priority. Tulane Epidemiologist Doctor Susan Hassig agrees.

Louisiana Lottery officials say they will be able to transfer over 190-million dollars to K-through-12 public education this fiscal year as the agency is experiencing its most profitable year in its 30-year history.
