According to an AL.Com report… Joe Burrow and several of his teammates lit up cigars in the locker room to celebrate their victory, and a security guard threatened to arrest the players when he reminded them that smoking is not allowed in the building. Several players laughed and thought he was joking considering they had just won the national championship. No arrests have been reported. Burrow was also photographed with a cigar at the post-game press conference.

A surprise result for House Speaker yesterday as a Republican, Clay Schexnayder, won the job but most of his support was from Democrats. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says it was a blow to Senator John Kennedy and AG Jeff Landry, who pushed all Republicans to vote for the Speaker. But Pinsonat says it’s not necessarily a defeat for the two Republican leaders…

LSU finished a perfect season in the Superdome against Clemson last night with Heisman Trophy Winner Joe Burrow at the helm. It was Burrow’s final game in an LSU uniform. He finishes his career with 65 total touchdowns and 60 passing touchdowns. Both are NCAA records. Burrow goes down as a legend…
