Medical marijuana products will be delivered to nine licensed pharmacies tomorrow. An eligible patient will need to be diagnosed as having one of the qualifying conditions and have a prescription from a physician. Pharmacist at Medicis in Lafayette James Thibodeaux says the process is similar to filling other prescriptions.

A three-day qualifying period begins tomorrow for the October 12th election. Republican Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain will likely face two Democratic challengers. The Louisiana State Bar Association is facing a lawsuit from lawyers who say paying dues to the Bar Association violates their freedom of speech.
