Even though a major storm is heading towards Louisiana, Governor Edwards says enhanced unemployment checks will still go out tomorrow. The Edwards administration says about 400-thousand Louisiana residents are eligible for 300-dollars a week and the first checks will be 900-dollars. since the benefit is retroactive to August 1st.
