Shreveport Police are looking for a 41-year-old man who shot another person at St. Mary Medical Center, which is run by Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. Authorities say Taniel Cole shot another person in the leg this morning and then fled the scene. No word on what sparked the shooting.

The investigation continues into Tuesday morning’s officer-involved shooting involving the Lafayette Police Department. State Police say a burglary suspect was shot during a struggle with a Lafayette officer when the cop tried to arrest the subject. Trooper Thomas Gossen says it’s too early to tell how things escalated to the point of gunfire…

The officer was not injured, while the suspect is in stable condition with a non-life threatening gun wound.
